Specification: Epoxy and polyurethane coating systems

The Brief

We were requested to provide a sufficient floor coating system for sealing concrete to allow easy housekeeping with designated DVSA MOT markings.

Floor preparation

The whole area was prepared using captive shot blast equipment. This created a clean, contaminant-free surface suitable for receiving various resin finishes.
The process

High build coating was applied to the whole substrate before applying pit surrounds and markings. A separate wash bay area was also created which required an anti-slip finish.
The final result

Finally, the wash bay had an anti-slip top coat. This project was completed over 5 days.
